Xaveria is and is not an imaginary country. Its name honours St.Francis Xavier (1506-1552), patron of missions, the apostle of Asia,and a great, though underrated spiritual writer. Xaveria is the land of my soul, a land where cultures are united in diversity by the one faith handed down from the apostles, a territory where Babel is reversed, the land of the Pentecost.
This is the Xaveria Herald, i.e. the spiritual diary of a Catholic lay person, trying to live his life in the light of the missionary mandate: ¨Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28,19);
posts will be in English and in my native language, Romanian.
